“ Edit at 30/01/2024 - Bay’s is re-opened. Bays have been closed for the last 3 weeks. It still says “open” on Google but they are not there. This is why people get their online orders rejected. Once a week, I usually stop by and get dinner for my family because I don’t want to cook. Everyone love Bay’s burgers, their battered sausages and especially their chips because you get a huge single portion of quite thick cut chips. My son often get his lunch from there like many other kids and tutors from nearby colleges. Regarding the food: the food is the typical fish & chips fare, with additional burgers, chicken wings or chicken pieces, pies and sausages. It is not posh food ( in case you want something more refined, Bay’s not for you) but it is good, comfort food. Personally, I like Bay’s. As I mentioned, the shop has been closed now since the beginning of November. No info as why. I think it is a big loss for our Haggerston community and I hope that the staff are all ok. They have always been nice to me, even when they are super busy. I wish them well and I hope they’ll be back. ”
“ Empty boxes says it all - amazing fish & chips! Good value for money for London and generous portions. Great vibe, can't complain. ”
“ Excellent fish and chips. Everything was fresh and clean tasting. The curry sauce is worth the 1.80 extra. ”
“ Best fast food takeaway in Haggerston - I’ve tried multiple items from the menu and all of them have been good quality and hot. Really good prices too. The staff are really friendly and they clearly have a lot of returning customers. Keep doing what your doing!!! ”
